Some of that fast draw is really quite dangerous. Notice the fastest stuff, his left hand has a leather glove and how he has a holster with a large metal flange to keep him from shooting his own leg. Most of the time, that fastest stuff is done with blanks or wax bullets.
That said, Bob is a character.
Have you seen any video of Jerry Miculek with a revolver? I had the honor of RO'ing Jerry at the Steel Challenge years ago. He's a "trick shooter" who can also do real practical stuff.
I have both seen and met Jerry Miculek i used to shoot with Jerry White an English PPC shooter who was as they say "shit hot" and dont forget wax bullets and blanks can kill and have done so,the glove on the left had is to stop all the damage you would do to your hand fanning a single action not that easy i can tell you.

Regardless of the ammo used, it's damned amazing.
